Ethernet server no answer...
PostPosted: Thu Jan 15, 2009 7:55 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

I used the CCS example to make an Ethernet server.
everything is working, excepted that it appends that the micro doesn't answer to the client.

When it's working, I send an Ethernet tram via the PC (client) and the micro (server) answer by another tram.

When the bug appends, I can connect the client (PC) to the server, send a tram, but I don't have any answer. Ethernet is still connected and the micro is running (I've got one LED which is blinking very second to check that)

My biggest problem is that this bug appends rarely: the system has been running for 15 hours without any problem.

The only thing that I did was disconnected the Ethernet cable and connected it back later. But I did it several time before without any problem...

Is there something which could cause this problem?
A bug in the CCS TCP/IP stack?
Maybe when the PC goes on sleep?
Maybe the temperature (around 40 deg)?

Thanks for any help...
Franck.
