Sending Hex using Usart
PostPosted: Tue Dec 30, 2008 6:25 am     Reply with quote

Sorry for the Newbie question, but I'm having problems sending a simple Byte using USART.

How can I send 0x7E for example.

I'm trying to use: printf ("%x", 0x7E); but it sends "7E" in Ascii.

To send a single character with the respective hex value use %c or simply putc(0x7e).

Thanks FvM

Putc (0x7E) works exactly as I wanted!
