IDE - file tree question

Hi, just a dumb newbie question about the windows IDE - after I create a project with the wizard, two files are created: a .c file and a .h file. The header file doesn't appear anywhere in the IDE file tree, and there is no way to open it that I can see. If I leave the CCS IDE and go into windows, the file is there. WTF?
