Multiple definition Error
PostPosted: Thu Oct 16, 2008 7:18 pm     Reply with quote

Hello all,
I am working with PIC18F4550 USB development kit and have developed code for 122x32 Lcd driver, and it's working successfully with CCS compiler. I have tried the same code with MPLAB with CCS compiler as a compiler tool. That too is working fine. I am using the Graphics.c file from Examples from the CCS compiler.

What my problem is when I try to compile the same code with PIC18 compiler in MPLAB, I got Error "Error - symbol 'FONT' has multiple definitions.
Errors : 1

I have modified the code for MPLAB libraries and functions.

This is the only one error I am facing.
Code:

const char FONT[51][5] ={0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, // SPACE
                         0x00, 0x00, 0x5F, 0x00, 0x00, // !

Sorry for long mail. I posted the same in MPLAB, but didnt get reply.

Ask the Hi-Tech compiler forum how to solve the problem.

It's not the job of the CCS forum to make code work on the Hi-Tech
compiler.
