Are you looking for suggestions on which one to buy ?
If you want the one that is the most "compatible", then
I suppose you should buy a Pic-Start Plus. That's the
reason why I bought one. It's not perfect. It occasionally
can be sensitive to your serial port settings (such as, if the
fifo is enabled in Win98). It's also expensive, compared
to the others. And, it seems like I have to upgrade it
constantly lately, and that's a time-consuming process.
(ie., it's not flash upgradeable. You have erase and program
the 17C44 PIC each time).
There's also Warp-13a, but it has its own bugs.
