I am trying to remap the CAN TX and RX pins on PIC24HJ64GP502, but as per the PCD Reference manual June 2008 page 124 C1RX and C1TX. Can anybody verify this?

There are many device features not yet supported by PCD built-in functions respectively other dedicated elements as #PIN_SELECT. You can always set in- and output pin mapping in RPINRx and RPORx registers directly.

At present, it's a faster way to define all I/O mappings on your own rather than verifying the correct coding of the different #PIN_SELECT statements.
