Import COFF

I am trying to "#import" a mplab(version 8.11) COFF file into ccs(version 4.077) and compile into one image - with no luck. This is possible, correct? There is very little information and no examples about this process.

Origninally, I copied the C files from mplab into my existing ccs project and tried to compile; however, there was several errors regarding the mplab files. As a result, I tried the above method to side step the errors. Obviously, the mplab project compiled fine in mplab.

My question is: Am I missing something?
Does anyone have any suggestions!

You need to have the COFF option in the #import line.
