hi to everybody
i try use and practice with the CCS examples, but the "ex_usb_serial2.c" , "ex_usb_bootloader.c" and "ex_usb_serial" but dont work on my Windows Vista Home premium, but some code on Windows Xp, work very nice.
I try re-install the CCS, manual install the "cdc_NTXPVista.inf " and the Microchip driver (USB Device - CDC) and disable the UAC (Control Panel) ALL without sucess,
I use the 4.074 version. help me please.
Sorry for my bad english,
Thanks.

It should work. The key though, is to make sure that you _only_ have the cdc_NTXPVista.inf present in the directory you point the OS at. It has the silly 'habit', of finding the older .inf file, and ignoring this one.
So, copy the file into a directory on it's on. With the device attached, go into settings, control panel, system, device manager. Select the CCS device it should be showing as an unknown device), right click on it, and select 'update driver software'. Select 'browse my computer for driver software', and select the directory with the .inf file. Select 'next', and hopefully it should then proceed to install.

Yes. It is an annoying Vista 'habit', designed to make it hard to have multiple .inf files for different OS's present in the one install..
Glad it worked.
