PostPosted: Thu Jul 17, 2008 8:24 pm     Reply with quote

Hi, I'm trying to test the rtos with a dsPIC30F6014A with a 7.237 MHz crystal but this code produces a continuos software reset. What is wrong? Thanks.

#include <30F6014A.h>
#fuses XT_PLL16,NOWDT, NOBROWNOUT, NOPUT
#use delay(clock=117952000)
#use rs232(baud=9600, UART2, STREAM=COM_B)

#use rtos(timer=4, minor_cycle=100ms)

#task(rate=900ms,max=100ms)
void send_data_task ( )
{
//fprintf(COM_B,"Online\r\n");
fputc('A', COM_B);
}

void main() {

printf("Sampling1:\r\n");
rtos_run();
}

I don't think you can run your clock at 118 MHZ. There is a post divider that has a minimum divide of 2 so your clock would be 58,976,000

Embarassed This is incorrect; the default post scale is divide by 1 (0,0 in post)
