XTEA encryption simulation vs. test not same
PostPosted: Fri Jul 11, 2008 6:40 am     Reply with quote

Hell all,

I have used the XTEA encryption encryption from:-
http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25422&highlight=xtea
and have tested the code in a simulator (Labcenter PIC simulation) and all works ok, encrypts test string ok.

Pass encrypted into decryption and the decryptor decodes ok.
No errors no matter what size string.

Put the code into test PIC and test encryption result with standard string and the two do not output the same string!!

I am using a PIC 16f87 and 16F688, are there problems with using the XTEA implementation??

Regards
Stephen
