DSPIC vs Normal Pic16 or 18 or TinyOS
PostPosted: Thu Jul 03, 2008 5:34 am     Reply with quote

I was just wondering whats the difference in using say the adc of a 16f877 or a dspic33f. I'm doing my final year thesis project building a wireless condition monitoring system for HV transformers and i need to eventually sample a FFT. Now i am deciding using a normal pic interface serial through matlab or use a TinyOS mote and its software or use the dspic with its analysis toolkits?? Ill be using 3axis accelerometers and 3 axis magnetic field sensors.

Any Help would Be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
