USB not recognized
PostPosted: Thu Jun 26, 2008 3:38 am     Reply with quote

Hello all,

I get the USB not recognized, device might malfunction error when i first plug in my USB board to the PC. After a little scanning, it says that it has found the software needed for the USB board. But the annoying USB not recognized by windows error keep popping up. I unplug the USB, and plug it in again, no error, nothing. not even "USB detected" what is happening?? :(

When i have the USB board plugged in, i've tested the ground and 5V, and theres a 5V voltage going across. Does this mean it's working? and when i unplug it, the 5V is obviously not there anymore.

How can i troubleshoot this? Please help! and i'm sorry if my questions doesnt make much sense, i'm still very new to this and im learning as i stumble! Smile

thanks so much guys!
