USB Problem

I have been trying to connect a pic18f4550 to the pc using usb and the serial example but the computer keeps saying device not working or recognised.

I have tryed to install the cdc_NTXP.inf by right clicking and clicking install but nothing seems to happen the screen refreshes and thats it.

Also the hid example talks about a hiddemo.exe but i cant find it. where is it hidden?

You can get it on the CCS download page. Look for the "USB" button.

You need to have a CCS maintenance agreement in effect, in order
to be able to download it.
