serial number auto increment?

Hi.

I have several PIC's to program, each one have to carry a unique serial number. Is there a possibility to, some how, MPLAB help me to do this automatically in each program cycle? I mean for example:

1 - first PIC to be programmed - serial number 0000
2 - programing will be 0001
and so one.
