RFID and LCD

hello all, i'm currently working on a project which needs to take input from a RFID reader and display on a LCD screen. the RFID reader module is from parallax and i'm using PIC18F4550(i won't be using a pc to take input from the reader). anybody has any example codes regarding this?

i've tried to modify the codes from this site http://www.tekcrack.com/arduino-lcd-wshift-parallax-rfid.html but to no avail. :(
