Hi
I have read a guide on how to install plugins to the mplab x on a Mac- of ccs c.
Now, after installed, I would like to install the ccs c complier to the mplab x, but on a Mac. Is that possible ?

Thanks.

The way most people work, is to use Parallels or Vmware in the Mac.

The Linux version of CCS, ought to not be that hard to port to the Mac, but CCS have never done it.

Some of the debugging tools have Mac drivers, while others don't. It'll always be the one you actually want, that doesn't...

MPLAB-X, is still not as good as the older MPLAB-8, so unless one is using a really new processor needing this later tool, the older environment is much less trouble.

Hence sticking with Windows as the core environment for this is much easier.

Best Wishes
