i m not able to get the lcd working with pic18f4525
I m using 4MHz crystal and have included LCD420.C file....but not able to display anything
needing help from someone

hi, post the test program which you are using.
An example of connecting a LCD to a PIC can be found here : http://www.trash.net/~luethi/microchip/datasheets/lcd/lcd_connectivity.pdf

Also, make sure the contrast pin is set correctly (about 0.5V should be alright).
