CAN Newbie need some help...
PostPosted: Fri Jan 25, 2008 8:35 am     Reply with quote

I just started working with CAN BUS, and I'm having some problems while trying to transmit a string through CAN BUS, I think I'm not doing it at the right way...

Do I have to "break" the string and transmit the chars 1 by 1?

How is the best way to transmit a string?

If someone has a example code or a good tutorial for beginners it would help, I already read the EX_CAN.c and most of the CAN BUS topics here, but I still have a lot of doubts....

I'm using two PIC18F2480's.

I have another question, I tried to change the CAN Baud to 1MB. How is the best way to test it if it's really 1MB? I have a scope here but I don't know what should I look for...

Thanks!
