Understanding for sprintf()

hi
Does anyone now how to work this function

 sprintf()


I wan't to display on a GLCD the temp , but i need first to convert the number (from LM35 TEMP SENSOR) ((float)Temp=32.3 celcius) to a character.

As i find to ccs manual i must deal with these function.
