OT: Bluetooth Help
PostPosted: Tue Dec 04, 2007 10:38 am     Reply with quote

Hello All,

Not getting much help in several other locations with this issue, so I thought maybe someone here might be able to offer some ideas?

I have a Bluetooth(BT) module:

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8461

That is embedded w/ a PIC 18F2620. I can get the SPP link up and working with a PC and BT dongle.

But when I attempt to link the embedded BT to a PALM device, I can't get the link to stay up. I can get the PALM to see the embedded BT module. I can enter the PIN and get the embedded device to appear on the 'trusted devices' list. But when I try to use BTserialPro:

I get a RFcomm failure.

I'm assuming there may be some sort of Master/Slave relationship issue here? But I've got zero experience with all the different options in BT.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks,

John
