LVP configuration and Verification Results
PostPosted: Mon Nov 05, 2007 3:33 pm     Reply with quote

I'm using ICSP to program a 18F452. I have the fuse set for NOLVP but I receive a verification result indicating it was expecting NOLVP but the actual setting is LVP. All other expected fuse settings match the actual settings.

What do I need to do to correct this problem?

Thank you.

In this thread, someone has a similar problem. He discovered that
he has an incorrect circuit connected to the MCLR pin.

Check your board and see if you have that problem.

See this page in the CCS FAQ, which shows the acceptable circuit
for connecting a board to their ICD unit.

Also download the Microchip ICD2 poster. Read the warnings on
the right side of the sheet, called "Target Circuit Design Guidelines".
Don't use any of the components that have a red "X" on them.
