write_eeprom not working with PIC18F6722

As far as I can tell, the write_eeprom function does not work on the PIC18F6722.

I've checked and double-checked my code, and I'm displaying address and data values on an LCD.

A #ROM statement correctly programs eeprom (from the hex file), and I can successfully read and display values with the read_eeprom function.

Anybody experiencing similar problems? I'm using compiler version 4.049.

Post a small test program that shows the problem.

My bad.

Eeprom write is working fine. But the ICD overwrites all the eeprom with FFs whenever it reprograms the part. Is there a way to turn that off so it only writes new program code, not data eeprom?

I'm posting this question as a new thread...
