PIC16F696 Emulator Board
PostPosted: Tue Jul 24, 2007 5:22 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I have a Microchip emulator board which has PIC16F636 and the extra IC for the AFE. This device is made to allow in-circuit debugging for the PIC16F639.

I have an issue with the CCS debugger. It is only executing about the first 100 lines then stops. The debugger continues to run. When set a break point after this point the debugger does not break. I have varied the type of code after this point and the result is the same. In the ASM list there is code and is seems resonable.

Is there something I am missing here ?

I am not sure what other information to offer, I am using the current compiler and IDE from CCS as of this morning. 24/7/07.

Any comments would be a big help.
