I need to establish a spi communication.

spi_write works very well.
But I have problem with spi_read_function(register_ad): it returns nothing and there is no clock signal generated.

please, can somebody advise me?

Notice how spi_read() is used to read data.

Problem solved.
An instuction was missing in the spi set-up.
