Emc clear graphic lcd display
PostPosted: Fri Jun 08, 2007 5:24 pm     Reply with quote

I use PIC18F6627 and AM12864 graphic display. This board drive inductive loads which sometimes generate emc interference and clear display. Display stay cleared all time and only way to show picure is run initialization procedure and generation picture again. Can I use more intelligent way by checking busy flag and run initialization when no answer from display?
OK, I know, I must cancel emc, but this software solution is backup for 100% safety.
Thanks. Turky

I was wrong in previous mail. It is possible to do "diplay off" and "display on" and picture is shown on display. It is very short command, display picture is very quickly and this eliminate "blinking effect".
Best wishes.
