Getting CCS to work under windows XP
PostPosted: Mon Apr 02, 2007 8:13 am     Reply with quote

I recently tried upgrading my version of MPLAB to ver 7.5 and running CCS. After some while of trying I went back to version 6.3 which I knew to work (been using it for some years). This also wouldn't work and it then dawned on me that I'd only ever run this under windows 98?? So I laboriously built myself a windows 98 version and low it works a treat????????? (still ver 6.3 of MPLAB I haven't tried 7.5 yet.)
The symptoms of failure are Project doesn't show build all... only compile and if you try to compile it it just fails with no error messages. It seems to me that under Windows XP it is not seeing the include file????
Can anybody help???
