look at this, i programmed my micro controller's baud rate at 9600, but i must read it at 38400. else it gives garbage



does anyone have any idea why is it like that?

Your PIC runs at 8Mhz, while you have a #use delay(clock... ) intstruction telling it 2Mhz. This can result a 4x baudrate.
