why do you think we can use some sort of internet telepathy to figure out what kind of PIC you have, how it's wired to the LCD (i2c, spi, parallel x4, parallel x8, serial TTL, etc), and what flavor of LCD driver IC the LCD uses? the aforementioned data is far more important than the geometry of the LCD (20x2).

no one can help you with the trivial amount of information you provided.

and the first help you will be offered is to ask whether you have looked in the code library forum here for a potential solution -- because currently the 6th post down from the top is titled "Flexible LCD driver".

across the 3 pages in the library forum i count no less than 14 topics that include the words "LCD driver" in the title.
