General TCP/IP
PostPosted: Fri Feb 16, 2007 8:32 am     Reply with quote

Can anybody help me? I'm currently looking at using the Microchip TCP/IP stack that has been ported by CCS in a PIC (18F4620). I've got the CCS Ethernet development kit along with their examples and I’ve worked through these. The questions I have are general ones concerning TCP/IP.

The examples given are split into IP, UDP TCP etc and there is one example per protocol. My questions are:

•How do you set up the stack so that the user can use either TCP or UDP or IP etc? Is this possible?

•Has anybody got the UDP and TCP examples to work .It's probably just me doing something stupid but mine don’t see to work.

Any general pointers on using the CCS stack and development board would be much appreciated and any general pointers on TCP/IP also.

Cheers

Sandyw
