Quick datasheet search
PostPosted: Thu Jan 25, 2007 8:34 am     Reply with quote

This is just a quick question, I'm looking at the datasheet for the 16f914, and trying to work out what the minimum voltage difference I can have between the VRef+/- pins on the ADC.

The datasheet is here.

I think its specified at 2V, but I'm not entirely sure!

Thanks in advance!

Depends what you want!....
It is specified at 2v minimum (A22), but for full accuracy from the ADC, it has to be 2.5v (A20). You can operate in the area between, but will probably gain nothing in terms of total accuracy.

Best Wishes
