CCS V4.xxx and PC-Lint

Has any one tried PC-Lint (gimpel V8) on CCS c source code (V4.xxx)?
If so, what is the best configuration?

I have lost substantial time due to complier/IDE problems that has caused project slips , and most of all - credibility Mad

I am hoping PC-Lint might be helpful Exclamation
