Updated: Compiler v3.236 will not generate Statistics File
PostPosted: Mon Jan 22, 2007 4:34 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I hope I can get all the facts straight this time around:

It seems I cant get the compiler to generate a statistics (.sta) file for one of my projects. The project target is a PIC18F4680. There´s no problem generating the file with the rest of the projects, but they are all targeted on PIC16F.

I checked my license and it is a PCWH license, so I should have support for statistics. (On the webpage ,it says that "PCH" doesnt have support for stats, but PCWH does).

However, when I compile, the "compiler popup" says PCH compiler v3.236. Should that say PCWH ?

Anyone else experiencing this ? The option for generating stats should be +A, and the compiler window says "Writing FileName.sta", but no file anywhere to be found. Could I bother someone to make a testcompilation with target 18F4680 and see if you get the .sta ?

The question is really wether it is in my version (v3.236) or if the compiler doesn't have support for statistics at all.

Thanks,
//DJ[/quote]
