A plug in Digital to Analog converter board?

I'm looking for a DAC board that all I have to supply is power and an interface. I was hoping there was a PIC eval board with an on-board DAC, but I haven't seen that. I'll gladly take all recommendations.

Let's assume your DAC is in an SOIC-8 package. Then just get a
little "Surfboard" and solder the DAC onto it (using a magifier). Photo:

Then get a 3M "Super Strip" or "Circuit Strip" breadboard and plug
the "Surfboard" into it.

Lots of companies sell these breadboards.

Then run wires over from your PIC prototype board (such as
PicDem2-Plus) to the Super Strip board. Also connect power and
ground. Then you can test your DAC. Of course, if you can buy
the DAC in a DIP-8 package, then you can just solder in a socket
on your PicDem2-Plus board and connect it to the Port i/o pins
with a few wires. That's the easiest way to do it.

There are simple DAC chips (in 8-DIP), that take only power and digital interface. For example: MAX538 with SPI interface and MAX517 with I2C interface. I think they are as simple to integrate as the board that you're looking for.
