RS232 receive problem
PostPosted: Tue Oct 31, 2006 12:39 pm     Reply with quote

My project is adjust a LCD TV using it's serial port,

I send a command to LCD(this part is OK), then LCD reply(here is the problem),
For example i send "KRSW001\r\n" to LCD and LCD has to reply with "ERR"

but i recieve "ERRE"

and if i send the command again i receive "RRE"

is like every time i try to read the data that receive is storage and i only get the last 4 characters.

I'm using hardware rs232 with PIC16f877

Have any idea
?

Hi,

Gosh, we do we begin? Please tell us sometyhing about your hardware, for example how are you connecting the PIC to the TV? Do you have a link so that we can look at the TV serial port specs? What compiler version are you using? Post a compilable piece of code that we can play with.

Gary
