determine baud from a synchronization byte
PostPosted: Fri Sep 15, 2006 8:18 pm     Reply with quote

I'm expecting 0x55 as a synchronization byte. Is it possible to find the bit time and then use something like this:

Code:
value = 1 / time
#use rs232(baud=value, rcv=..., xmit=...)

The keyword that you need to search for, when looking for information
on this topic is: autobaud

Also search for: auto-baud

and

"auto baud"

Search this forum and search Google for: PIC "auto baud"
