Suggestion for connection
PostPosted: Mon Jul 17, 2006 9:56 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I have seen some development boards that connect an mcu and a I2C or spi based peripheral (say a memory or an ADC) using jumpers made of wires ( the PCB connector are on the same PCB and not more than 5 inches long). Is this a good method for experimental purposes or will a PCB track be a better idea ??

thanks

You should see my current I2C and SPI prototyping hardware! Wires about 12" long, arranged in a ratsnest. It still works!
