link an assembler file with an c file
PostPosted: Tue Mar 11, 2003 3:21 am     Reply with quote

i want to run the usb firmware for pic16c745 which is written in assembler in my c file
my problem is, that i can't implement the firmware in the c code because ccs only allows inline assembly and the firmware runs include files with macros.
how can i compile my c file into assembler and link it with the firmware?????
thx for help

There is no separate linker with the CCS compiler.
You can't make linkable object modules.

Can you post a link to the ASM source code for the firmware ?
Maybe we can look at it, and give you some suggestions on
how integrate it into your C source code.
