Mini Ethernet switch/hub advice
PostPosted: Sat Jun 24, 2006 3:58 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,

I am trying to make a pass-through embedded ethernet device. I will have only 1 ethernet connection coming in to it, however I want it to split off into my ethernet device and a server. How inefficient would it be to make a hardware hub? Anyone have a similar idea? I'd like to have it all inside of one package (pcb).

Thanks
Mark

Take a look at the KSZ8842-16MQL from Micrel
