SNMP Client Software

Can anybody recommend a SNMP Client that I can use to test the SNMP Agent I'm writing? Basically porting the Microchip stack, but need some a Client for testing. I've got a Cisco client here but it only really seems interested in being used for its specfic job. Some sort of universal client would be nice.

Quickly searching I came up with a few things that might fit what you are looking for. I have not used any of them.

java implementation of basic client (programming api also included)
