question about canopen

In the post 3711 I read that at the question if there is a canopen library for ccs, the reply was there is a microchip library (an945). But that library is for mplab c18.
I would like to know if it is possible to use libraries for mplab c18 in ccs compiler or if I need to translate them in ccs c. I ask this question because I'm interested in using ecan library (an878) in ccs compiler and I do not know how I can do.
