pic power and frequency control!

Hi all, can anyone answer me:

1. What is the pic power consumtion and crystal speed relation? e.g. if same project i use pic16f84 with 4MHz and 20MHz, how much power will safe from using 4MHz? 1, 2, 4X?

2. If i use pic16f84A, what crystal speed can use? 4MHz? 20MHz? What's about if I use pic16f84-20IP? can I use 4MHz crystal?

3. If I want use switch input for my PIC, normally I use 10K ohm resistor to pullup, may I know what is the maximum ohm I can put? 4k7? 100k?

All of your questions can be answered by reading the datasheet.

Also note that the top speed of the PIC16F84 is 10 MHz. There is no PIC16F84-20IP. There is a PIC16F84A-20I/P

The max frequency of a PIC is given on the first page of its datasheet.
