PIC18F422 and MPLAB Error

I'm using PIC18F442 and when i'm comipling the code from MPLAB i get the following error

when i use the PCM C Compiler IDE the code compiles as shown

do anybody knew the reason of the error generated by the MPLAB or how can i download the code after compiling it using PCW IDE. (i'm using ICD2)

Make sure you have CCS installed correctly, and that you have
selected the correct "Tool Suite", etc. See this FAQ article:

MPLAB is working fine when i use the PIC16F877A. therefore, i think if it is not installed properly both will not work. i'm using MPLAB V7.31 and CCS PCW C Compiler, Version 3.124.

is it possible to use the ICD2 with the PCW IDE?

The CCS IDE only directly supports their own CCS ICD debugger.

You have to use MPLAB with ICD2.
