I2c with PIC18F4410

In my project I can use two possible microcontroller a PIC16F777 and a PIC18F4410. The program, in particular, the part of i2c comunication work very well in PIC16F777. We comunicate with another board in i2c protocol each 2msec. The same program, modified for PIC18, doesn't work correctly. In particular, after some comunications, the SDA (RC4) signal go high and the SCL (RC3) signal always present, without pause. It seems that the I2c circuit "becames crazy".

Can you help me, please.
