easy radio transceiver interfacing with pic
PostPosted: Fri Jul 28, 2006 9:04 am     Reply with quote

Hi;

I try to interface an easy radio rf transceiver with pic16f877. Transceiver has only a data in and a data out pins. And I configured pic port b2 and b3 as rs232 to connect transceiver. However what i want is to grab an 8 bit (a byte) data from the air via antenna and send it to rf transceiver and after that pass it to pic.
After pic gets the data, I want to pass it to max232 and eventually to pc.
I implemented circuit and wrote code.it works fine for a bit. what about for 8 bit?

Pre-thanks for your leads!

So you are saying your transceiver uses OOK?

Look through the archives for Manchester Encoding.
