HI,

Sorry for being a bit off-topic. But im in need of a "real splitter' IC.
i.e an IC with VCC input, and outputs some V- as well as V+.

Take a look at the inverter TC7660.

'Traco Power' do a range of DIL packages that take 5V and output -5V,+5V,-12V,+12V,-15V,+15V,etc with an option of isolated grounds between input and output.

do a google for :

TMA 0505D
TMA 0512D
TMA 0515D

these are 1W modules but the do bigger ones if you need it.

Depends where you are, but in the UK these can be bought through Farnell Ltd.
