Backup data on eeprom

Hi everibody,

I need to save minutes contdown in eeprom but I don't want write eeprom every minute.

Is possible to save data during shutdown ?
Have you got any other solution ?

Yes, monitor the upstream side of your voltage regulator to see if power has failed. You need to calculate or measure how much time you have before the processor dies and compare that with the time needed to store your data. This kind of thing can work well, but it's all about timing.
