Modifing LCD420.C
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2006 2:34 pm     Reply with quote

I have the following connections to the lcd

// As defined in the following structure the pin connection is as follows:
// B1 enable
// B2 rs
// B3 rw
// B4 D4
// B5 D5
// B6 D6
// B7 D7
//
// LCD pins D0-D3 are not used and PIC .

struct lcd_pin_map { // This structure is overlayed
BOOLEAN unused;
BOOLEAN enable; // on to an I/O port to gain
BOOLEAN rs; // access to the LCD pins.
BOOLEAN rw; // The bits are allocated from
int data : 4; // low order up. ENABLE will be pin B0.
} lcd;

#byte lcd = 0xF81 // This puts the entire structure
// on to port B (at address 0xF81
but i have a problem

The B6 and B7 line did not work together with the ICD2 debugger

Is it posible the change the driver to this

B1 - enable
B2 - RS
B3 - RW
B4 - D4
B5 - D5
C7 - D6
C6 - D7

How can i change this??
