P1618QP & reset
PostPosted: Thu Dec 29, 2005 4:50 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,
I'm trying to use microchip bootloader + P1618QP software on my
18F8621 based application, but I've a problem:
I compile the program using CCS and remap the interrupt
address as described here in the forum, then I'm able to send the
hex file using the P1618QP software, then I press run mode button,
it advices that the boot mode will be lost etc. Then nothing happens.
If I reset the micro it correctly starts with the program transferred
through the bootloader. So it seems that P1618QP does not send
the reset command, only the command to write 0 in the last address of
eeprom. Is that correct ? does someone has a patch to the P1618QP
to solve the problem ?
thanks
proton
