CCS Debugger EVAL problem

I'm using PIC18F442, CCS compiler V3.241 and ICD software v2.47 (all latest). I'm trying to use EVAL to change variable contents on the fly in the DEbugger window but the contents cannot be changed!

Having read a thread on this Forum, it mentioned that the EVAL feature has NOT been implemented yet, but the button is visible in the PCWH IDE Debugger window. Is this true? If so, this probably explains why I cannot change the variable contents.

Is there another way I can change the variable contents on the fly in the Debugger window?
