ICD2 with self-powered target board

In a self-powered target board
conected lo a ICD2 I should
conect Vss, PGC, Vpp/MCLr , PGD and
that's all ?? some else consideraction ?
Someone have a schematic with a example ?

ICD2 must have a connection to the Vdd on the target PIC board.

See the ICD2 poster for a diagram of the required connections.

Look on the right side of the poster, at the little green box with
the PIC in it. It shows 5 pins. You must have all those connections
and the 10K resistor between MCLR and Vdd.

I get lost, what about a little diference bettwen
Vdd from ICD2 debuger and target Board ?
the target board source o the ICD2 will demage ?
right ?

ICD2 must know the target Vdd voltage, so it can adjust its buffers
for PGC and PGD to the correct voltage.

You must connect Vdd from ICD2 to the target PIC board,
as the ICD2 Poster says.
